The Graycliff Hotel and Restaurant offers 20 air-conditioned guestrooms, with high ceilings in one- and two-story buildings (no elevators) that include the Main House with a brocade-seating parlor and buildings such as a former bakery and slave quarters that were converted for hotel use.
Rooms are individually decorated and furnished with antiques in Victorian style; they are named not numbered. Asian area rugs cover tile or wood floors. Direct-dial telephones have data ports; local calls are free. High-speed Internet access (surcharge) is available. Televisions offer U.S. cable channels; VCRs are available on request. Minibars and in-room safes are provided. Bathrobes and slippers, hair dryers, and designer bath amenities are supplied, along with turndown service.
A health spa with complimentary sauna, steam room, and eight-person spa tub offers spa services on request. Within the Graycliff Hotel’s compound is a factory that produces internationally distributed Graycliff-brand cigars. Adjacent to the factory is a cigar lounge with overstuffed leather seating. A gift shop sells Graycliff cigars, cigar humidors, and handbags fashioned from Graycliff cigar boxes as well as leather goods and exotic liquors.
